What our Customers Say

My MS is really bad but I use my Theracycle five times a week for 45 minutes each time. When I use it, it keeps my legs from hurting and I never have spasms. I have to get on that bike. I can’t say enough about it. Believe me, there is no doubt in my mind that if I didn’t use that bike I would not be walking. It is the best investment I ever made. I love my Theracycle.” Michelle Mesi
West Seneca, New York
I’m 36 years old, and I was in an auto accident when I was 19. I am a paraplegic. Theracycle is the best thing I have found to exercise my legs. I have had other bikes in the past, but Theracycle is the best piece of physical therapy equipment I have found to meet my needs. Thank you for putting out a product that has truly been a blessing to me as well as to many others.” Robby Timmons
Mt. Airy, North Carolina
As a practicing neurologist with twenty-five years of evaluating patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and other neurological problems, I have taken an aggressive approach towards helping my patients receive the exercise they need.

Patients who have used the Theracycle have shown increased range of motion and decreased spasticity, improved muscle tone, strength and balance control. Further, use of the Theracycle has increased the physical endurance and improved the psychological outlook of these patients.

The Theracycle is motor driven, which enables users who cannot use their own energy to move their body. These patients have also shown improvement with digestion and other issues associated with immobility.” Thomas F. Morgan, MD

Our Company Culture and Mission

Our company culture includes a focused team effort and commitment to helping people live better with neurological and mobility conditions in a customer centric, supportive and results-driven team environment.

Our company mission is to improve the quality of life for those with neurological and mobility conditions by providing effective, innovative and inspiring therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation equipment.

Our Company History

In 1932, a New York City mechanical engineer designed a motor-driven stationary bicycle for his wife who had a neuromuscular disorder. His hopes were that by helping her maintain constant, full-body motion, it would help alleviate her muscular ailments. His invention worked so well that it soon attracted the attention of others who wanted to keep fit but lacked strength or endurance.

This machine, later named Exercycle, became the exercise method of choice for more than one hundred thousand people. Over the years, fitness enthusiasts from all walks of life have discovered the Exercycle—from Presidents FDR and Eisenhower, to screen stars John Wayne and Jane Fonda. Everyone benefited from the Exercycle’s combined movements of swimming, rowing, cycling, chin-ups, and calisthenics in one efficient and fluid workout.

Now, we have incorporated years of technical know-how and experience based on the original Exercycle to develop another revolutionary exercise bicycle—one designed specifically for the unique needs of people with Parkinson’s or other neurological conditions who lack the strength and endurance to use traditional exercise equipment.

The Theracycle helps with Forced Exercise—providing the needed assistance to pedal at a higher speed and longer duration than one can do on their own which has been proven to reduce symptoms caused by neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s and Stroke.
